What is up with this crazy weather we’ve been having?!  Its hard to get into the holiday spirit with such gloomy muggy weather. The storm started on Wednesday right after my shoot with Jason and his daughter. (Thank you rain man for holding out until I was done) I have some shoots coming up and I’m praying to the rain man that he allows me clear skies!

I just hope it  doesn’t rain on Christmas day….and we all know the chances of snow happening in central Florida LOL!

Countdown: 19 days until (hopefully a rain-free) Christmas!

Today was such a gorgeous day. The blue water from the bay really inspired me to grab my canon and start taking pics. So I called my good friend Rachel to see what she was up too. To my surprise she was actually at home and making a strawberry cake So I asked her if she wouldn’t mind posing for me for my very first maternity shoot.

Rachel agreed to pose her baby belly for me in her cute little cottage garden style backyard (even better since its at her home) and we had a blast shooting the pics. I will post them up asap but for now here is a little teaser for you guys..

I can’t believe that this will be my first Black Friday in 6 years that I don’t have to wake up at 3am and come home at midnight. For the last 6 years of my life I was the biggest scrooge during the retail holiday season.  Why you ask?  I worked almost every holiday, long hours, crazy people screaming at me, never seeing my family and always missing out on the delicious food!

But not this year! I took the rest of the week off from my shoots so I can enjoy this holiday with my family, friends loving fiance and my kitty. No lines, no crowds, no long hours….This year and every year from now on will be different. I need this change for not only my family, but myself as well.

First time in 6 years I actually have holiday cheer! I hope everyone out there has a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

I can’t even explain how excited I am to sleep in this Friday! hehe

So apparently Nikki & Monique had so much fun on our photoshoot Sunday that they wanna have another one! We did have a blast the whole day and hey are so fun to photograph. Very beautiful young ladies

And thanks to them December is getting pretty full…I am going to have to start double booking days pretty soon!

Wow, first blog entry on the new site! Where to begin??

Things have been racing past me so quickly. This has all been happening so super fast but I wouldn’t ask for anything else in the world.

Photography has been a passion of mine for many years. I am so excited and thankful that I can now call this my career and do it for a living. Finally, a job I can wake up and say “I can’t wait to go to work!”

I’m hoping that after the holidays and after the $20.00 special I am running, I will still have a rush of clients headed my way…because this flood of shoots is something I hope is here to stay. I enjoy the feeling!

Well I think its about time for me to settle down with my love, finish watching Curb your Enthusiasm and hit the sack. I have a ton of shoots coming up and I better start my resting now!
